3. Registration – the first step

Register on the official website:

To create a profile, you will need, among other things:
Your full name as it appears on your passport
Your place of residence
Other personal details

Once you have completed the form, you will be entered into the so-called pool – a kind of lottery. As long as places are still available, participants are drawn at regular intervals. There is still a chance of being drawn in October.

📌 Tip for Austrian citizens:
There are 100 places available each year. In November, the pool is reset – you will then have to re-register in December or January at the latest.

📝 My experience:
I registered in mid-January and received an invitation after less than ten days.

4. Received an invitation – these are the documents you need

Once you have received an invitation, the next step begins. You must submit the following documents:

• Criminal record certificate (police clearance certificate)
• Curriculum vitae – including all periods of employment and unemployment
• Passport scan
• A form with details of your siblings and your parents' dates of birth

⚠️ Important: The application can only be submitted once all documents have been uploaded in full.
