Whale watching!
On my first day in Victoria, I walked through the city, visited Emily Carr House, and enjoyed the sunset with ginger beer while looking at the lights of the British Columbia Parliament Buildings. On Saturday, I first visited Government House, which I can really recommend, and afterwards I went whale watching, which I enjoyed a lot.
After that, I travelled on to Whistler and looked at quite a lot connected to the 2010 Winter Olympics, which was also my first Olympics as a ski jumping fan. I also went ziplining there. I have to say, it was not that spectacular. The view was great, but if you want real action, you should go to Planica or Gröbming.
Since Tuesday, I have been at my second WWOOF station in the Okanagan Valley.
Animals in the area:
This time there are only wild animals around me: coyotes, pheasants, marmots, different squirrels, and owls.

Next week there will be something interesting to read about the region. Stay tuned!
